Riding on Ollie Pope’s unbeaten 100, England ended Day 2 of the first Test against India on 209/3, still trailing the visitors by 262 runs in the first innings. Earlier, India were all out for 471, thanks to hundreds from Rishabh Pant, Yashasvi Jaiswal and captain Shubman Gill.
