Born in Chandigarh, Amanpreet Singh was a right-arm medium fast bowler and was a part of the India U19 squad that played in the 2007 tri-nation tournament featuring Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. However, he couldn’t make it to the Indian squad for the 2008 U19 World Cup in Malaysia.
